      Association of School Work Boards (ASWB #1053) This organization Developmental Resources, #1053, is approved as a provider for social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) www.aswb.org through the Approved Continuing Education (ACE) Program. Developmental Resources maintains responsibility for the program. ASWB Approval Period: (8/13/2016-8/13/2019). Social workers should contact their regulatory board to determine course approval for continuing education credits.
      National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC #5602) Developmental Resources is an NBCC-Approved Continuing Education Provider (ACEP™) and may offer NBCC-approved clock hours for events that meet NBCC requirements. The ACEP solely is responsible for all aspects of the program.
      We are approved to provide continuing education activities for Marriage & Family Therapists by the Texas Board of Examiners of Marriage and Family Therapists.
      California Board of Behavioral Science Examiners (CBBSE #PCE2800) to provide continuing education hours for Social Workers and LMFTs.
      Developmental Resources is an Approved Provider of Continuing Education for Licensed Professional Counselors in Texas by the Texas Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors.

      *NOTE: 20 contact hours includes attendance at both pre-conference workshops as well as the entire conference. Check with your representative board or organization concerning its policy with regard to Continuing Education.

  • Discounted Room Rate
    • YES, a limited number of rooms are available at a special conference room rate. The current discounted room rate for conference attendees is $135/night (June 26-29th only/ then $279/night from June 30). Rates are based on single/double occupancy. Space is limited.

  • Partial Registration
    • The "Conference Only" registration includes access to all general and breakout sessions, refreshments and exhibits from June 28 through June 30, 2017.

    • The "Bundle" registrations include access to 2 pre-conference sessions, all general and breakout sessions, refreshments and exhibits from June 27 through June 30, 2017. We do not currently offer a one-day or two-day partial registration fee.

  • Cancellation Policy
    • If a registrant cannot attend any part of the conference, substitutions may be made - via mail, fax or email - by June 1, 2017. Registrations cannot be shared. Cancellations received in writing by May 1, 2017 will be refunded in full, less a $30 non-refundable processing fee. Refunds will be issued no later than 8 weeks after the conference in the same form that payment was received. After May 1, no refunds will be granted, but substitutions are encouraged.

  • Visa Information & Letters of Invitation for International Attendees
    • We warmly welcome attendees from other countries. As an international visitor, you should check current United States visa requirements with the US Embassy in your own country prior to departure. You should also check with your country’s immigration office on any travel-related restrictions that may be in place. Developmental Resources/AccuTrain cannot be responsible for travelers who do not confirm visa requirements or obtain the appropriate paperwork to travel.

      When applying for a visa to enter the United States, it is highly recommended that participants apply early to allow enough time for the screening processes. The U.S. Consular Services suggests travelers begin the visa application process at least 60 days prior to the date of travel. However, it is also recommended that travelers contact their local Embassy to find out how long the typical wait is for an interview.

      Should a letter of invitation be required as part of a visa application, a written request must be submitted via email to pd@accutrain.com or via fax to +1-757-227-6804.

      For security purposes, DR/AT’s policy for issuing official letters of invitation for the Innovative Schools Summits ® by Developmental Resources / AccuTrain Corporation (DR/AT) is as follows:

      • Letters of Invitation can only be issued to confirmed registrants, defined as those who have paid the meeting registration fees.
      • After you have received your official registration confirmation, you should then contact the DR/AT Office to request a letter of invitation via email: pd@accutrain.com or fax: +1-757-227-6804.
        • Letters of invitation can only be issued for the person registered for the meeting. We cannot issue letters of invitation for guests of participants.
        • Letters of invitation are addressed to the individual who wishes to attend the event. To expedite the preparation of a letter, please provide the following information in your request (fax is most secure method):

      Note: Obtaining a Letter of Invitation will not guarantee that your U.S. visa application will be approved. The letter is merely supplementary information that explains a visa applicant’s intended purpose of travel to the United States. The decision to issue a visa is the sole judgment of the local Embassy or Consulate. U.S. Embassy officers look at the totality of an applicant’s personal and professional situation in determining visa eligibility. We are unable to assist with actual visa processing.

      Should issues arise during the visa process and you are concerned that you may not receive your visa in time for the conference; you should contact the us immediately. If you are not able to attend the conference due to visa issues, we will refund your registration fee as long as the following two criteria are met:

      1. A refund request must be received in writing by emailing pd@accutrain.com or faxing +1-757-227-6804 at least 60 days before the start of the event.
      2. If we are not informed of your visa issues before the above date, no refund will be issued, but a voucher will be issued for a future event.
